UD Heads to Sydney Truck Show Fully Armed!

The all new UD range including the recently launched MK and PK medium duty models and the flagship heavy duty GW trucks will feature on the UD stand at this year’s Sydney Show

UD will use the Sydney Trucks Show to debut its all-new automatic transmission MK6 medium duty truck that will be a major boon for city delivery and distribution work as well as for a range of other tasks. The new automatic version of the MK6 will be unique amongst Japanese medium duty trucks in offering a full automatic in a 10 tonne GVM model.

According to UD Trucks general manager Shannon Taylor the Sydney Trucks Show will be will be the first public showing of the new range and it si expected to arouse enormous interest throughout the three-day expo.

“While the GW and PK models have been on sale for the past month or so the new MK will break cover at the Sydney Show and the automatic is already generating a huge amount of interest especially amongst fleet operators,” said Shannon Taylor.

“GW has been Japan’s best selling heavy duty prime mover for the past two years and is already proving to be extremely popular in Australia since its launch while PK is continuing UD’s strong track record in medium duty,” he said.

“Truck show goers will be able to take a close look at the key trucks in the range and speak with our technical and sales experts about specifications and mechanical detail throughout the three days of the Show.

UD Trucks stand at the Sydney Truck Show will feature five new models headlined by a GW 470 prime mover along with a GW 400 tipper, an air suspension equipped PK 10 tautliner, an MK 6 plus cab chassis and the all-new Allison automatic equipped MK 6.
